Sunday Creative Workshop 30 April

Drawing from local artist Paul Darragh's latest work now showing at Toi Tauranga this workshop will be a chance for participants to design and paint there very own art work on canvas.

Participants will be guided to design and paint their artwork using the geometric shapes and colours of Paul's exhibition Ship up or Ship out. Participants will build their paintings using bright, bold colours, gaining an understanding of colour theory and geometric abstraction along the way. These workshops are fun and playful and designed for all ages and abilities.

Monthly creative workshops are held on the last Sunday of every month. The themes and drawing outcomes of the workshops are based on the content and techniques of current exhibitions at Toi Tauranga.

  • Refreshments provided
  • The workshops run from 10:30 am –12:30 pm
  • Are aimed at young people and adults. An adult must accompany children under 8 years of age.
