Dash Shaw is a US comic book writer, artist and animator, whose most recent animation, My Entire High School Sinking into the Sea, is showing as part of the Mega World exhibition; Anti-heroes. Don't miss the opportunity to hear from an international artist at the fore of comics and animation. 

My Entire High School Sinking into the Sea had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and was also shown at the New York Film Festival. It stars the voice talents of Jason Schwartzman, Maya Rudolph, Lena Dunham and Susan Sarandon, to name a few. The film had its Australasian premiere was here at the Tauranga Art Gallery. Dash will be discussing his film and animation process and will be joined by his wife and lead collaborator and animator on the film, Jane Samborski.
