Embossed Sculptures: Tauranga Art Gallery Holiday Workshops

This holiday season, give your child an unforgettable artistic experience with our hands-on workshop with Angie - Tauranga Art Gallery's Lead Educator.

This workshop is inspired by Peata Larkin’s stunning recently unveiled public sculpture in Red Square - Rauhea.

Tamariki will create their own 3D masterpiece - embossing tin, and fabric, and adding colourful cutouts that cast beautiful, captivating shadows in the sunlight.

A perfect blend of art, design, and imagination, this workshop will spark your child’s creativity while giving them a fun and unique way to engage with the outdoors.
