Public Art Walks with Tauranga Art Gallery Director Sonya Korohina

Where  Midnight Sun, 160-176 Devonport Road, Tauranga View Map Midnight Sun by Sara Hughes has been reinstalled across the road from the AA Centre.

Tauranga Art Gallery Toi Tauranga invites you to join our Director, Sonya Korohina, for one of our FREE public art walking tours.

 

The sessions will run from 12–1pm on the last Thursday of each month. Starting at 160–176 Devonport Road — across from the AA Centre — you will be guided through the CBD, visiting five significant public artworks: Sara Hughes’ Midnight Sun, Manākitanga and other works by Whare Thompson, Peata Larkin’s Rauhea, Hairy Maclary and Friends, and Kelcy Taratoa’s Kotahitanga.

 

The tour is fully accessible👨🏻‍🦽and dog-friendly 🐶 but be prepared for some walking🚶🏽
