Sunday Creative Workshop 26th of March

Local artist Paul Darragh will lead the session, sharing with participants his creative skill set in commercial advertising and how these skills have been translated into his mural-based street art and canvas painting.

Participants will be guided to design and paint their artwork using the geometric shapes and colours of Paul's exhibition Ship up or Ship out. Participants will build their paintings using bright, bold colours, gaining an understanding of colour theory and geometric abstraction along the way. These workshops are fun and playful and designed for all ages and abilities.

Monthly Creative workshops are held on the last Sunday of every month. The themes and drawing outcomes of the workshops are based on the content and techniques of current exhibitions at Toi Tauranga.

Morning tea provided
The workshops run from 10:30 am –12:30 pm
and are aimed at young people and adults. An adult must accompany children under 8 years of age.
