Join accomplished local weaver Rawinia Grey as she guides you through the processes and techniques of harakiki raranga (flax weaving). You will learn weaving techniques and make your own wall hanging using freshly harvested harakeke. The workshop will suit anyone with little or no knowledge who are interested in learning how to weave with harakeke using traditional Māori tikanga (cultural practices and values).
